The end of the year usually sparks excitement, joy, and anything that involves festive attitudes, however we are sad to say that an institution is closing in January 2016. The Musee Conti in The French Quarter will unfortunately fall into oblivion as  "luxury" condominiums will rise out of the wax left behind...

Must say that on our last trips home, wish we would have taken a few moments to remember the place. A good reminder here too about pr friends, family and loved ones during the holiday season. Take time to seek them out while they are still within arms reach, just close enough for a hug and a good laugh!
