Celebrating Our Indigenous Family
Dear Lagniappe Family and Friends,
This Thursday on Lagniappe we celebrate our Indigenous family members across the globe. Our focus will center on how Indigenous day came to be about in the Americas, but we also have featured the voices and rhythms of other Indigenous family spanning from Japan to Yemen - those we rarely hear. We have taken not only songs from the past, but we have also dipped into the voices of the present and future.
