We will momentarily pause our Mardi Gras festivities to remember our brothers and sister's who were persecuted during the holocaust. January 27 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. We know all too well the how the Holocaust was used to eliminate our Semitic family, but what about the African presence in Germany at the time? We will take a brief look into the complexities of being an Afropean in Nazi Germany.
